This week she's giving away one of these awesome pattern+supply kits that has everything you need to make this Christmas quiet book!

Pages in the "Here Comes Santa Claus" quiet book include (all descriptions are by Steph from the quiet book PDF's Etsy page):

Cover Page: Here Comes Santa present that opens up to showcase a family photo with Santa

Dress Santa: Help Santa button his suit and buckle his belt

What's in Santa's Bag?: Holds all of the decorations and fishing pole to get the house ready for Santa

'Twas the Night Before Christmas: This cozy holiday scene has snaps for all of the decorations

Interview

What's your name? Describe yourself in one sentence.
Steph Bitter. I am a momma of 4 crazy kids ranging for 16 to 2; I love fabric, music, Montessori method, soccer games and require chocolate to stay sane!

Who did you make this quiet book for? How old are they?
This book was created for my 2 1/2 year old daughter who LOVES her quiet books and Christmas. This will go to church with us and sit on her Montessori shelves that we do for our “school” time.

What's your level of sewing experience?
This book is a basic sewing level…but I have decent sewing skills (thanks to 4-H and my mom!). The pattern gives several options to do things (like button holes) for those who aren’t comfortable with them.

How long did it take you?
Once I made the pattern the book took around 10 hours to make…I cut everything first and THEN carried it with me everywhere to work on while I waited for kids at their activities. I finished it in less than a week. I am very much a “start and finish” kind of gal and have made 60+ quiet book pages so I have lots of experience that probably helped make it go quick.

Did you use any templates? Where can they be found?
Yep, it can be found in my etsy shop: Simplycraftysisters.etsy.com
I wanted to create a book with LOTS of fine motor skills and that had a new approach to many favorite quiet book activities for my kiddo.

How did you bind your quiet book?
Grommets and binder rings. I want this book to last for the Grandkids, and my nice hubby sets them for me!

What material are the pages made out of?
Felt, minky, ribbon, fur, clear vinyl.

What other materials did you use?
Snaps, a comb, thread, dry erase marker, buckle, grommets.

How much did all the supplies cost you?
I have the kit available in my shop if you’re interested, with all supplies included for $35: Christmas Quiet Book Fabric Kit.

What's your favorite page? Why?
The Comb Santa’s Beard page….my daughter carried this around for days once it was finished. And truthfully, the idea was what inspired the book to start with. But, the fishing the house decorations out of Santa’s bag is a close second!

Steph's giveaway this week is her "Here Comes Santa Claus" Christmas Quiet Book Fabric Kit (Pattern Download included), which, like the title says, includes the full PDF pattern of the "Here Comes Santa Claus" quiet book as well as all the supplies needed to make this Christmas book.
